Michael Austin
Founder & President
Mike Austin formed the first of several successful Austin Companies, Austin General Contracting (AGC) in 2005, adding on Austin Millwork & Cabinetry (AMC) and Austin Door & Hardware (ADH) soon after. As President, Mr. Austin is ultimately responsible for successfully creating and maintaining the most respected collection of businesses in the Southwest.
At AGC we believe that everything flows from the top down. We have one of the most experienced and talented leadership teams available.
Michael Stella
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Stella joined Austin Companies in 2007. During his tenure, the Finance and Accounting department has grown from two employees to more than thirteen today. As CFO, Mr. Stella is responsible for managing the functional accounting departments (billing/accounts receivable, accounts payable, human resources/payroll, general ledger, tax/financial reporting), working with the companies’ lenders to maintain access to working capital and financing, as well as oversight of the companies’ growing technology investment.
Nicole Battaglia
Vice President of Operations
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Nicole’s career began working as a Project Manager for a General Contractor and Construction Management firm. She worked on Corporate, Institutional and Healthcare projects which included ground up as well as renovations. She was then recruited by an Owner’s Rep Firm and her responsibilities as a Project Executive included large healthcare projects. Once she successfully implemented several Healthcare Master Plan initiatives for which she was responsible from concept to occupancy, she joined her regional health system and became their System Director of Facilities Management & Operations and she led the organization’s construction platform.
Jon Crow
General Superintendent
Jon is the director of field operations for Austin General Contracting at Austin Companies. He is responsible for delegating the supervision of projects, monitoring the distribution of manpower, developing and enforcing all standard operating procedures, assuring that all the current standards and codes are being adhered to, and ensuring that all AGC field personnel are exhibiting the company’s core values.
TC Hansen
Director of Safety
After retiring from the United States Air Force, Mr. Hansen joined Austin Companies. During his tenure, he has improved and strengthened the culture of safety for Austin General Contracting (AGC), Austin Millwork & Cabinetry (AMC), and Austin Doors & Hardware (ADH). His leadership acumen continues to reduce the incidence of hazards, resulting in calculated and well-earned insurance discounts.
