After graduating from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mr. Ingram moved away from the frigid winters of the Midwest to the warm welcome of Las Vegas.  While working for another firm, he oversaw a business relationship with Austin General Contracting. After witnessing their potential, firsthand, he joined AGC a year later.

Mr. Ingram’s career has flourished during his tenure at Austin.  With more than 15 years at the firm, he has held several positions and taken on ascending levels of responsibility.

As the Director of Pre-Construction at Austin General Contracting, Sam is responsible for managing the estimating services team.  His extensive experience lends to his ability to review a set of drawings and identify which activities need to occur, as well as timing, for the project to be implemented and come together successfully. Mr. Ingram attributes much of the company’s growth, as well as his own career growth, to the focus the entire team places on client needs.

Sam’s values are defined by faith, family, and friends.  He deeply values his time with his wife and three boys and enjoys a wide variety of interest including golf and traveling.  One of Sam’s favorite quotes is “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty” Winston Churchill.
